Hayden, Josephine, and Rosemary Walker are three siblings who have grown up making music together. Together as Pickin' Thistles they play their favorite Celtic and American folk tunes weaving in rich sibling harmonies. Hailing from the tradition-rich mountains of Todd, NC, they have crafted a sound both timeless and unique. They delight with beloved favorites and original tunes that keep the toes tapping. Both Josephine and Rosemary are also champion Irish and Scottish Highland dancers who excite the crowd with their rhythmic footwork. Pickin’ Thistles has played at venues in the southeast including MerleFest, Appaloosa Festival, and IBMA’s World of Bluegrass.
